Ecopixel clients are enjoying the benefits of integrated calendars in their websites — that is, they manage the calendars right in the content management system (CMS) that they use for editing their website content.

Examples include municipalities and parks, which have meetings and events that need to be displayed neatly for the public to reference.

The calendar system includes options of how to display events: a monthly calendar view or a list view. You can use both. The list view is helpful to highlight upcoming events around the website, such as the homepage or a specific program or department page. You can see the list view on the left side of this municipal website, for example.

The text fonts and colors are made to match the other styles on the website — just another benefit of using an integrated system.

What's more, the calendar can have a RSS feed that can be integrated with third-party email marketing systems, such as MailChimp. People can sign up to receive emails that detail your upcoming events. You can send weekly emails, for example, to everyone on that list. The information is pulled from the RSS feed, so no retyping is required!

The integrated calendar system joins other CMS features such as integrated blogs, online forms and news as part of Ecopixel's website solutions.
