Launched: Redesigned Website for Mount Grace Land Trust

Posted Wednesday, May 6, 2026

We’re excited to announce the launch of the new Mount Grace Land Trust website.

Mount Grace protects land and connects people to nature across 23 towns in central Massachusetts. As one of the area’s leading conservation organizations, the nonprofit’s work spans land protection, stewardship, and community engagement — all in service of a stronger, healthier region.

With their new rebrand as a guide, this website redesign focused on giving the land trust’s website a more vibrant, modern look while also improving the behind-the-scenes platform so it is easier to maintain, more accessible, and better equipped to support outreach and fundraising.

Ecopixel launched the new website on time and on budget to coordinate with the start of Mount Grace’s spring appeal and unveiling of their new brand identity.

A fresh design aligned with Mount Grace’s new branding

The new site design brings Mount Grace’s updated visual identity to life online, with refreshed typography, color, and layout choices that feel more dynamic and contemporary (while staying true to the organization’s tone and mission). Along the way, we also evaluated and improved the site’s content structure to help key pages read clearly and guide visitors to action.

Like all of Ecopixel's web designs, the new site provides an accessible and mobile-friendly experience.

A better donation and fundraising experience

Fundraising is central to supporting Mount Grace’s work, so we prioritized improvements that make giving easier for donors:

  • More prominent Donate button
  • Redesigned donation form: Ecopixel redesigned the donation form to follow current best practices for effective online fundraising. Unlike a traditional form where all the fields are visible at the same time, the new donation form is highly mobile-optimized and breaks the form into easy-to-navigate panels.
  • Updated CRM integration: Fundraising data flows securely and efficiently into the Little Green Light CRM.

A stronger platform, improved SEO, and better visibility

To support long-term performance and findability, the launch includes major technical and search improvements:

  • TYPO3 CMS upgrade: Upgraded the site to the newest TYPO3 version for improved security, performance, and long-term maintainability.
  • SEO improvements: Integrated Yoast SEO for easy feedback that help editors create content that searchers will find.

A more engaging news experience

News is one of the best ways for Mount Grace to tell stories, share project updates, and keep people connected to the mission. Updates to the news system include:

  • Categories and tags that are visible and linked from the top of articles, encouraging visitors to explore related content
  • Automatic related-article suggestions based on categories
  • New formatting and layout options to create more engaging posts
